Royal Orient Train Tour
THE TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

- Places to be covered: Delhi, Chittorgarh, Mehsana, Junagarh, Sasangir, Ahmedpur, Mandvi, Palitana, Sakhrej.
Travel to Rajasthan, India, on the Royal Orient Train Tour.
Day 1: Arrival at Delhi
Once you arrive in Delhi, India, our company representative will meet you and help you check into a hotel. You can spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 2: Journey begins
The nest day we take you to Delhi Cantonment Railway station where you board the Royal Orient Train and begin your travel to Rajasthan, India.
Day 3: Arrival at Chittorgarh
On the third day morning, you arrive at Chittorgarh Railway station. Here will halt and visit the Chittorgarh Fort.
Then we travel to Udaipur, in Rajasthan, India, while having breakfast on board.
On reaching Udaipur, you are transferred to a hotel for lunch. Post lunch, we visit the City Palace, Sahelion-ki-bari (Royal Gardens), Shilpgram (Craft village) and the lake for boating. Later on, we travel to Junagarh as we have dinner on board.
Day 4: Reach Mehsana in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India
On the fourth morning, we arrive at Ahmedabad in Gujarat via Himmatnagar and halt for an hour or so. Meanwhile, we can also visit the graceful destinations of Mehsana in Ahmedabad.
Later on, we depart for Junagarh. Breakfast and lunch are done on board. We then arrive at Junagarh, where we visit the Ashokan Rock Edict of 3rd century BC, Darbar Hall Museum, and Mausoleum of Nawab Mahabat Khanji.
Then we travel to Veraval and once we are there, we visit Somnath, the famous Shiva temple on the shore of the Arabian Sea. Dinner is had on board.
Day 5: Tour parts of Gujarat - Sasangir, Ahmedpur, Mandvi
On the fifth day, we arrive at Sasangir, where we have an early breakfast on board and then proceed to the Lion Sanctuary.
Then we travel to Delwada as we have lunch on board. At Delwada, we will visit Ahmedpur Madvi Beach and Diu (Fort and St. Paul's Church).
Later on, we depart for Palitana as we have dinner on board.
Day 6: Tour Palitana, Sakhrej
On the sixth day, we arrive at Palitana. After having breakfast on board, we go ahead to visit 863 Jain temples atop Shatrunjaya hills. (As 3572 steps have to be climbed to reach this temple, you can use the Chairs-links arranged by us if you desire.)
Then we travel to Sarkhej as we have lunch on board. Once we arrive at Sarkhej, we will be visiting Vishalla Village. At night, we have dinner at the hotel.
Day 7: Tour Ahmedabad
On the seventh day, after having breakfast on board, we take you on a sightseeing trip of Ahmedabad, which includes Adalaj Stepwell, Gandhi Ashram, Calico museum of Textiles, Sidi Sayyad's Mosque, Shopping centers, etc. Lunch is had at the hotel.
Then we depart for Jaipur. Tea and dinner are both had on board.
Day 8: Arrival at Jaipur
On the eight day, we reach Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan. Breakfast is had on board. The we proceed on to visit Amber Fort. Then we take an elephant ride via Hawa Mahal. Lunch is had at the hotel. After which, we go ahead to visit City Palace and Jantar Mantar (Observatory).
Then we depart for Delhi. Dinner is had on board.
Day 9:
We return to Delhi, which brings us to the end of the Royal Orient Train Tour of Gujarat and Rajasthan, India.
