Travel to Rajasthan, India, on an exciting Wildlife Tour.

Day 01 / Arrival Delhi

The company representative will meet you in the arrival visitor's hall at the airport in Delhi, India, with a paging board. He will help you transfer to your hotel and complete the check in formalities.

Relax at the hotel. Later you can explore the sights of Delhi - a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope that is India.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast travel to Rajasthan, India and arrive at Jaipur - Known to many as the Pink City, its buildings were painted on the instruction of the Maharajah - rosy pink being the color associated with hospitality.

Jaipur- the fabled "pink city" of the desert is named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through nine rectangular sectors subdividing it.

Day 03 Jaipur - Enjoy an elephant ride

Morning at 0800 Hrs. The guide will meet you at the hotel to take you on a city tour of the Pink city. Visit the impressive Amber Fort (12 Kms. from Jaipur). At the foot of the hill, mount on an Elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate.

You ride up on Elephants to the former capital of the royals set against the backdrop of the wooded hills. Visit the Hawa Mahal (the ornamental facade of this "palace of winds" is a landmark in Jaipur. Its five storey structure of pink sandstone encrusted with fine trellis work and balconies has 953 niches and windows.) Open air Jantar Mantar - Royal observatory (built in the 17th century by Jai Singh - with a sundial 90 ft. High; Albert museum (the museum amidst the Ram Niwas palace gardens founded in 1876 with a large collection of antiques). Enjoy a stroll through the colourful Johari bazaar (the main bazaar in the old city, for jewellery and saris).

In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi dani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan. Enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other cultural performances, when you travel to Rajasthan, India.

Day 04 Jaipur - Kota

After breakfast drive to Kota - Rajasthan's largest industrial town situated on the banks of the river Chambal. On arrival at Kota, check into your hotel.

Post Lunch explore your fears at the Crocodile Sanctuary in the Chambal Gardens . Continue the tour of Kota. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 05 Kota - Ranthambore

After breakfast drive to Ranthambore, famous for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have India's friendliest Tigers and also considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. It is also a wonderful place for bird watching.

Afternoon jungle safari by Canter to encounter the Tiger. The park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is the main attraction of Ranthambore, which you're sure to appreciate when you travel to Rajasthan, India.

Stay overnight at the Resort.

Day 06 Ranthambore

Day 07 Ranthambore

Post breakfast, commence your tour of Ranthambore, Visit the Ranthambore Fort and various places of historical interest inside the Fort. The main attraction is the temple of Lord Ganesha. Later visit the Mansarovar Lake where you will have a beautiful view of nature.

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 08 Ranthambore-Bharatpur

Depart for the famous Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary at Bharatpur. This sanctuary is home to an astonishing range of flora and fauna.

Arrive and transfer to the hotel.

Enjoy the exciting experience of seeing an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw ride in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park.

Day 09 Bharatpur-Agra

Morning trek into the park along with the naturalist. Back to the hotel.

Post Lunch, Continue your journey to the next destination - The land of the Taj Mahal - Agra. Enroute visit the Fatehpur Sikri (The Deserted city of Emperor Akbar, which literally means the city of Victory)". Reach Agra and check in at the hotel.

Evening visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunset. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most extravagant expression of love ever created.

Evening free to explore Agra's rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets

Day 11 Agra

After Breakfast we will drive to Taj Ganges parking place. From there we will take the battery operated Bus to World famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651 A.D. Taj Mahal - The symbol of Love was built in the memory of Mumtaz Mahal, Shah Jahan's wife.

Visit the Agra Fort, a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates.

Post lunch tour of Itimad-Ud-Dullah's tomb, or the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired, it features striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling stones.

Evening free to explore Agra's rich heritage of handicrafts in its markets.

Day 12 Agra - Delhi

Wildlife Tour in RajasthanPost breakfast, depart for Delhi. On arrival, check into the hotel. Afternoon Half day guided tour of Delhi to commence post Lunch.

City tour of New Delhi. Drive past the state Government buildings designed by Lutyens, visiting Rajpath leading up from India Gate, the war memorial arch up to the imposing presidential palace - the Rashtrapati Bhawan - built on Raisina hill and flanked by the secretariat buildings.

Landscaped parks and formal gardens surround old monuments all over the city, such as the mausoleum of Humayun.

End the tour at the tower Minaret of Qutab Minar, also see an amazing 2000 yrs old pure iron pillar erected in 4 A.D., which has never rusted.

Day 13 : Delhi - End of Tour

In the morning have your breakfast and be ready to explore Delhi, the capital of kingdoms and empires.

Delhi is no fairytale city but a city where dreams come to reality. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power.

Delhi is truly a symbol of the old and the new; a blend of ancient well preserved monuments and temples along with jam-packed burger joints and up market shopping malls.

Old Delhi owes its origins to the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The old city area has monuments, and narrow crowded streets within its granite walls and bustling bazaars.. The main structure is the Red fort built of red sandstone; it houses the famous Diwan-e-khas, the beautiful audience chamber where the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan held court, seated on the peacock throne.

Board the Rickshaw Ride, for a unique experience through Chandni Chowk or the silver street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this busy avenue heading west from the Red fort. Opposite the fort is the largest mosque in India - the Jama Masjid and as you walk down its steps, you walk into the teeming market place famous for brocades, braids, silver, manuscripts etc.

Continuing the tour of Old Delhi, visit Raj Ghat, where the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Post Lunch, return to the hotel. Rooms available for wash and change. Time for shopping. In the evening, Transfer to the International Airport for flight back home or travel to the next exciting destination, at the end of your Rajasthan Wildlife Tour.
