Day 01 Arrival Delhi

The company representative will meet you in the arrival visitor's hall with a paging board at the airport in New Delhi, India. He will help you transfer to your hotel and complete the check in formalities.

Relax at the hotel. Later you can explore the sights of Delhi - a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope that is India

Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 02 - Delhi

In the morning have your breakfast and be ready to explore Delhi, the capital of kingdoms and empires.

Delhi is no fairytale city but a city where dreams come to reality. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power.

Delhi is truly a symbol of the old and the new; a blend of ancient well preserved monuments and temples along with jam-packed burger joints and up market shopping malls.

Old Delhi owes its origins to the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. The old city area has monuments, and narrow crowded streets within its granite walls and bustling bazaars.. The main structure is the Red fort built of red sandstone; it houses the famous Diwan-e-khas, the beautiful audience chamber where the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan held court, seated on the Peacock Throne.

Desert Circuit Rajasthan Board the Rickshaw Ride, for a unique experience through Chandni Chowk or the silver street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this busy avenue heading west from the Red fort. Opposite the fort is the largest mosque in India - the Jama Masjid and as you walk down its steps, you walk into the teeming market place famous for brocades, braids, silver, manuscripts etc.

Continuing the tour of Old delhi, visit Raj Ghat where the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated.

Post lunch, commence the tour of New Delhi . Drive past the state Government buildings designed by Lutyens, visiting Rajpath leading up from India Gate the war memorial arch, up to the imposing presidential palace - the Rashtrapati Bhawan - built on Raisina hill and flanked by the secretariat buildings.

Landscaped parks and formal gardens surround old monuments all over the city such as the mausoleum of Humayun.

End the tour at the tower Minaret of Qutab Minar. Here you can see an amazing 2000 yrs old pure iron pillar erected in 4 A.D., which has never rusted.

Day 03 Delhi - Jaipur

After breakfast travel to Rajasthan, India, and arrive in Jaipur - Known to many as the Pink City, its buildings were painted on the instruction of the Maharajah - rosy pink being the color associated with hospitality in Rajasthan, India.

Tours to JaipurOn arrival, transfer to your hotel. Post lunch, commence the half-day sightseeing covering City Palace - the royal residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur known for its stunning architecture. It also houses a museum. Later visit the Palace of Winds also known as Hawa Mahal. This elaborate building, now little more than a façade, is encrusted with delicate screens and carved balconies from which the royal ladies, confined to their quarters, could sneakily view the outside world. Past, present and future merge at Jai Singh's Observatory, where time has been accurately measured since the 17th century. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 04 Jaipur - Sanganer - Jaipur

Morning at 0800Hrs. The guide shall meet you at the hotel to take you onto the city tour of the Pink city. Visit the impressive Amber Fort (12 Kms. from Jaipur). At the foot of the hill, mount on an elephant for the slow but steady climb up to the main gate. Return to the hotel for a swim.

Post lunch excursion to a small village called Sanganer - 16kms south of Jaipur. An important trade and industry center, known to produce the world famous finest hand-printed textiles (block printing or silk screen). Customers travel to Rajasthan, India to buy the unique textiles of Sanganer.

In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi Dhani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan. Enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show and various other cultural activities. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 : Jaipur-Ajmer/ Pushkar

Depart for Pushkar and Ajmer - Where two cultures meet. Temples and mosques within a short distance of each other. The harmonious blend of Hinduism and Islam gives this town a unique character.

Morning sightseeing of Ajmer visiting Anasagar, an artificial lake. On one embankment is the marble 'baradaries' (pavilions) erected by Shahajahan in 1637 and the other side is a park (Daulat Bagh) Later visit the Dargarh, located in the heart of the old city is the tomb of the Sufi saint-Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Beyond the dargah is a building of unusual architecture. Post lunch tour of Pushkar.

11-km from Ajmer on the edge of the Thar Desert lies a tiny tranquil town of Pushkar along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake, which is an important pilgrimage for the Hindus. Overnight at Pushkar.

Day 06 Pushkar /Ajmer - Jodhpur

After breakfast drive to Jodhpur through the most interesting contours of the desert landscape. Arrive at Jodhpur and transfer to hotel.

Day 07 Jodhpur

Day 08 Jodhpur-Jaisalmer

Depart after breakfast by road to the ancient caravan city of Jaisalmer.

The exotic, remote and beautiful, Jaisalmer is a bit of a paradox. So far west that it is in the heart of the desert, one would expect barren near-desolation. Yet this frontier town is today one of Rajasthan's best-loved tourist destinations. Local colour and warmth prevail over the inhospitable and forbidding terrain, imbuing the medieval town with a special magic, as you'll see when you travel to Rajasthan, India.

Day 09 Jaisalmer

The city has an interesting legend associated with it, according to which, Lord Krishna-the head of the Yadav clan, foretold Arjuna that a remote descendent of the Yadav clan would build his kingdom atop the Trikuta Hill. His prophecy was fulfilled in 1156 AD when Rawal Jaisal, a descendent of the Yadav clan and a Bhatti Rajput, abandoned his fort at Lodurva and founded a new capital - Jaisalmer, perched on the Trikuta Hill.

After a relaxed breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort and palaces are all built of golden sandstone. Explore the honey-coloured fort that emerges from the flat dry desert sands and enjoy a walk through the maze of narrow streets in the city with ornately decorated havelis.

Evening enjoy camel ride by the sand dunes.

Day 10 Jaisalmer - Bikaner

Drive to Bikaner - Vale of Serenity, upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening free to relax. Overnight at hotel

Day 11 Bikaner

Desert Circuit RajasthanBIKANER - The royal fortified city with a timeless appeal. This Royal walled city is a part of the desert tourist triangle and lies on the northern tip of the triangle. Lying in the north of the Desert State, the city is dotted with many sand dunes. Bikaner retains the medieval splendor that pervades the city's lifestyle. More popularly called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. The ship of the desert is an inseparable part of life here.

Today enjoy city tour covering Junagadh Fort - fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, sumptuously decorated with its ornately lacquered walls in red & gold and panels of dazzling coloured glass inlay, set over the coronation throne.

Bhand Sagar Temple - The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm - a unique Desert Circuit where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel's milk.

After lunch excursion tour to Deshnok (Karni Mata Temple) devoted to an incarnation of Durga. The sacred rats and their life is reconfirmation of the almighty power of the Goddess.

Day 12 Bikaner - Mandawa

Morning drive to Mandawa , a compact little town of Shekhavati region, Arrive and check in into hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis & beautiful frescoes.

Depart for Mandawa. Reach and check in at hotel. Afternoon Guided tour of Mandawa: to commence post lunch to appreciate the painted Havelis on the ancient and the famous silk route.

Departure for onward journey.

Day 13 : Mandawa - NawalGarh - Dundlod - Mandawa

After breakfast excursion to Nawalgarh, the town where the finest of the Shekhavati's frescoes can be seen. It's havelis still bear witness to the rich & prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. It has a colourful bazaar and two forts. There is also interesting temple in town including Ganga Mai near Nansa Gate. Later visit Dundlod and Ratangarh.

Evening back to Mandawa.

Day 14 : Mandawa- Neemrana

After breakfast depart for The Neemrana fort Palace. Check into your room in the Fort. Enjoy the evening with the folk dancers at the fort.

Day 15 : Neemrana Fort - Delhi

Post Lunch, depart for Delhi. Evening free for shopping and farewell dinner by the company. Transfer to the international airport for your journey to your onward destination, at the end of your Rajasthan Desert Circuit Tour.
