Day 1: Arrival Delhi
The company representative will meet you with a paging board in the arrival visitor's hall of the airport in Delhi, India. He will help you transfer to your hotel and complete the check-in formalities. Overnight at the hotel.
Delhi is a perfect introduction to the composite culture of an ancient land. A window to the kaleidoscope - that is India.
Day 2: Delhi
In the morning have your breakfast and be ready to travel around the capital of kingdoms and empires. Delhi is no fairytale city but a city where dreams come to reality. Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose it as their seat of power.
Delhi is truly a symbol of the old and the new; a blend of ancient well preserved monuments and temples along with jam-packed burger joints and shopping malls.
Old Delhi owes its origins to the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan. It offers monuments, narrow crowded streets within its granite walls and bustling bazaars. The main structure is the Red fort built of red sandstone; it houses the famous Diwan-e-khas, the beautiful audience chamber where the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan held court, seated on the Peacock Throne.
Board the Rickshaw Ride, for a unique experience through the Chandni Chowk or the silver street, experiencing the sights and sounds of this busy avenue heading west from the Red fort. Opposite the fort is the largest mosque in India - the Jama Masjid and as you walk down its steps, you walk into the teeming market place famous for brocades, braids, silver, manuscripts etc.
Continuing to travel in Old Delhi, visit Raj Ghat (where the Father of Nation, Mahatma Gandhi was cremated).
Post lunch, commence the City tour of New Delhi. Drive past the state Government buildings designed by Lutyens, visiting Rajpath leading up from the war memorial arch India Gate, up to the imposing presidential palace - the Rashtrapati Bhawan - built on Raisina hill and flanked by the secretariat buildings.
Landscaped parks and formal gardens surround old monuments all over the city such as the mausoleum of Humayun.
End the tour at the tower Minaret of Qutab Minar. The earliest Muslim city of India is 15 kms from Rashtrapati Bhawan, which is dominated by the Qutab Minar. Also see an amazing 2000-yrs-old pure iron pillar, erected in 4 AD, which has never rusted.
Day 3: Delhi - Jaipur
After breakfast travel to Rajasthan, India. Drive to its capital city, the Pink City of Jaipur, its buildings were painted on the instruction of the Maharajah - rosy pink being the color his people associated with hospitality. Jaipur is named after Jai Singh, the former Maharaja of Jaipur. This is the only city in the world symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe through the nine rectangular sectors subdividing it.
Day 4: Jaipur
The Soul of Splendid Rajasthan, India - Full day guided tour of The Pink City
Morning at 0800Hrs. The guide will meet you at the hotel to take you on the city tour of the Pink city. Visit the impressive Amber Fort (12 Kms. from Jaipur). At the foot of the hill, mount onto an elephant for the slow but steady climb upto the main gate.
Visit the Hawa Mahal, the ornamental facade of this "palace of winds" is a landmark in Jaipur, India. This five storey structure of pink sandstone encrusted with fine trelliswork and balconies has 953 niches and windows.) Open air Jantar Mantar - Royal observatory, built in the 17th century by Jai Singh - with a sundial 90 ft. high; Albert museum - the museum amidst the Ram Niwas palace gardens founded in 1876 with a large collection of antiques.
Enjoy a stroll through the colorful Johari bazaar (the main bazaar in the old city, for jewellery and saris).
In the evening enjoy your dinner at Chokhi Dhani (an ethnic village resort) where you will have an idea of the village life of Rajasthan. Enjoy various traditional Rajasthani dances, puppet show, and various other cultural activities.
Day 5: Jaipur - Mandawa
Morning travel to Mandawa, a compact little town in the Shekhavati region of Rajasthan, India. Arrive, and check into the hotel. In the afternoon visit Havelis & beautiful frescoes.
Depart for Mandawa. Reach and check in at the hotel. Afternoon guided tour of Mandawa to commence post lunch to appreciate the painted Havelis on the ancient and famous silk route along which camel caravans used to travel to Rajasthan, India.
Day 6: Mandawa - NawalGarh - Dundlod - Mandawa
After breakfast excursion to Nawalgarh, the town where the finest of the Shekhavati's frescoes can be seen. Its havelis still bear witness to the rich & prosperous Marwari era of the 19th century. It has a colorful bazaar and two forts. There are also interesting temples in the town, including Ganga Mai near Nansa Gate. Later visit Dundlod and Ratangarh.
Evening back to Mandawa.
Day 7: Mandawa - Bikaner
Drive to Bikaner - Vale of Serenity in Rajasthan, India. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Evening free to relax. Overnight at the hotel
Day 8: Bikaner
Bikaner - The royal fortified city with a timeless appeal. This Royal walled city is a part of the Rajasthan desert tourist triangle and lies on the northern tip of the triangle. Lying in the north of the Desert State, the city is dotted with many sand dunes. Bikaner retains the medieval splendor that pervades the city's lifestyle. More popularly called the camel country, the city is renowned for the best riding camels in the world. The ship of the desert is an inseparable part of life here in Rajasthan, India.
Today enjoy a city tour covering Junagadh Fort - the fort has a 986 metre long wall with 37 bastions & two entrances, sumptuously decorated with its ornately lacquered walls in red & gold and panels of dazzling colored glass inlay, set over the coronation throne
Bhand Sagar Temple - The 16th century Jain temple, is the most important of this temple complex, Camel Breeding Farm - a unique experience where you can ride on a camel & have perhaps the first taste of camel's milk.
After lunch excursion tour to Deshnok (Karni Mata Temple) devoted to an incarnation of Durga. The sacred rats and their life is reconfirmation of the almighty power of the Goddess, which you'll see when you travel to Rajasthan, India.
Day 9: Bikaner - Jaisalmer
Depart after breakfast by road to the ancient caravan city of Jaisalmer, Enroute visiting Gajner & Kolayat.
Gajner 35 kms from Bikaner is famous for Gajner Palace, converted into a hotel and the wildlife sanctuary. Further explore Kolayat, a beautiful village with Havelis.
Later drive to Jaisalmer
Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert, like a golden mirage, is the city of Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, India.
Day 10: Jaisalmer
The city has an interesting legend associated with it, according to which, Lord Krishna - the head of the Yadav clan, foretold Arjuna that a remote descendent of the Yadav clan would build his kingdom atop the Trikuta Hill. His prophecy was fulfilled in 1156 AD when Rawal Jaisal, a descendent of the Yadav clan and a Bhatti Rajput, abandoned his fort at Lodurva and founded a new capital - Jaisalmer, perched on the Trikuta Hill.
After a relaxed breakfast, proceed for full day sightseeing tour of The Golden City - Jaisalmer. It is in the heart of the Great Indian Desert. Its temple, fort, and palaces are all built of golden sandstone. Explore the honey-colored fort that emerges from the flat dry desert sands and enjoy a walk through the maze of narrow streets in the city with ornately decorated havelis.
Evening enjoy a camel ride on the sand dunes.
Day 11: Jaisalmer - SAND DUNES
In the afternoon, travel to the SAM SAND DUNES for visiting the typical Rajasthani Desert Village. View the sunset from the dunes, as the sky is set on fire. Return to the village for dinner amidst Rajasthani musicians playing haunting tunes.
Adventure freaks can go out on a camel safari- getting the real feel of the desert on camel back, when they travel to Rajasthan, India. Stay overnight at the SWISS TENT CAMP.
Day 12: Jaisalmer - Jodhpur
After breakfast drive to Jodhpur through the most interesting contours of the desert landscape. Arrive at Jodhpur and transfer to a hotel. Set at the edge of the Thar Desert, the imperial city of Jodhpur echoes with tales of antiquity in the emptiness of the desert.
Evening at leisure, relax in the hotel.
Day 13: Jodhpur
Jodhpur - gateway to the desert beyond, home of the Rathors of Marwar, in Rajasthan, India.

Day 14: Jodhpur - Udaipur
Drive through the desert to Udaipur, the City of Lakes, in Rajasthan, India. Enroute visit Kumbhalgarh, famous for its Fort converted into a hotel. Also visit the Jain temples at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. On arrival, check in at the hotel.
Day 15: Udaipur
Udaipur is a fascinating blend of sights, sound and experiences and inspiration for the imagination of poets, painters, and writers.
Its kaleidoscope of fairy-tale palaces, lakes, temples, gardens and narrow lanes strewn with stalls, carry the flavor of a heroic past, epitomizing valor and chivalry. Their reflection in the placid waters of the LAKE PICHOLA is an enchanting sight, and many tourists travel to Rajasthan, India to see these beautiful lake palaces.
Commence the morning sightseeing tour by visiting the City Palace, the largest Palace complex Museum of Rajasthan. Take a stroll through the colorful Bapu Bazaar. Post lunch tour of the famous Jain temples of Nagda and Eklingi, 15 kms from Udaipur.
Towards sunset proceed on a cruise on Lake Pichola, and visit the Jag Mandir Palace
Day 16: Udaipur - Ajmer
Morning travel to Ajmer, where two cultures meet. Temples and mosques within a short distance of each other. The harmonious blend of Hinduism and Islam gives this town a unique character Enroute visit Deogarh (famous palace converted into hotel) and Nathdwara (famous temple of Lord Krishna).
Arrive at Ajmer and transfer to the hotel.
Day 17: Ajmer - Pushkar
Morning sightseeing of Ajmer, visiting Anasagar, an artificial lake. On one embankment is the marble 'baradaries' (pavilions) erected by Shah Jahan in 1637 and the other side is a park (Daulat Bagh) Later visit the Dargarh, the tomb of the Sufi saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, located in the heart of the old city. Beyond the Dargah is a building of unusual architecture.
Post lunch tour of Pushkar 11 km from Ajmer on the edge of the Thar Desert lies a tiny tranquil town of Pushkar along the bank of the picturesque Pushkar Lake, which is an important pilgrimage site for the Hindus.
Day 18: Ajmer - Ranthambhore
After breakfast travel to Ranthambhore, famous for the wildlife sanctuary, which is said to have India's friendliest Tigers and also considered to be the best place in the world to photograph the tiger in its natural habitat. It is also a wonderful place for bird watching. Nature lover's worldwide travel to Rajasthan, India to see the tigers of Ranthambore. Arrive at Ranthambhore and transfer to the hotel.
Day 19: Ranthambhore
Morning and afternoon jungle safari by Canter to encounter the Tiger. The park, which is one of the finest tiger reserves in the country, is the main attraction of Ranthambore.
Day 20: Ranthambhore - Bharatpur
Morning travel to Bharatpur. Situated between the cities of Agra and Jaipur in the northwest, it is famous for the Keoladeo Ghana bird sanctuary, which is a home to an astonishing range of flora and fauna.
Arrive and transfer to the hotel. After lunch have a completely rewarding experience of seeing an overwhelming range of birds during the rickshaw ride through the Keoladeo Ghana National Park.
Day 21: Bharatpur - Agra
Leisurely wake up and enjoy the buffet Breakfast at the hotel. Continue your journey to the next destination - The immortal TAJ MAHAL in Agra. Enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, the deserted city of Emperor Akbar, which literally means the City of Victory.
Reach Agra and check in at the hotel.
Evening visit the magnificent Taj Mahal at sunset. One of the Seven Wonders of the World and the most extravagant expression of love ever created.
Day 22: Agra - Delhi (By Road - 200kms - 04hrs)
After breakfast visit Agra Fort, a hilltop citadel with fabulous courtyards, fountains and gates. Post lunch tour of Itimad-ud-Daulah's tomb, or the 'Baby Taj'. Less visited but much admired, it features striking mosaics inlaid with sparkling stones.
Afternoon drive to Delhi and transfer to the airport for your onward journey at the end of your Majestic Rajasthan Tour.
