Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary - Also known as Keoladeo National Park, the sanctuary receives more than 400 species of birds each year. Every year birds from Afghanistan, central Asia, Tibet as well as Siberian cranes from the arctic, come here. The Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, recognized for its biological treasures.
Lohagarh Fort - This massive iron structure with its impregnable defences has survived a number of British attacks. Built in the 18th century, the fort was conceived and designed by Maharaja Suraj Mal, the founder of Bharatpur.
Bharatpur Palace - The Bharatpur palace is a fusion of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles. The Palace also houses a museum with royal artifacts.
