Fair Overview
The Nagaur fair in Nagaur is the second biggest fair in Rajasthan and
as such has secured a place of great admiration among the foreign
tourists. The fair is spread over a great period of eight days and is
organized during the month of January or February every year. The venue

the festival an estimated 70,000 animals of the finest breed.
Another attraction of the fair is its Mirchi bazaar or the red chilly
market, which is the biggest in India. Guests can also see the spices at
the fair and the competitions like tug-of-war, camel races, bullock
races and cockfights add to the excitement of the fair. Puppeteers,
story-tellers; and exciting campfire evenings keep the guests
entertained at the fair.

guests because the town is easily accessible by road and railway. The
