Fair Overview
The Khetlaji Fair in Sonana is a two-day celebration and is held in the
months of May and June every year. The festival is celebrated in the
name of the Deity named Khetlaji. The worshippers of Khetlaji believe
that the Deity can fulfill all their wishes. There are many devotees of
the deity and worshippers from the nearby area come together to
celebrate. People also flock to the place to thank the deity for their
wish fulfillment.

and other guests start queuing up right from the morning. The local
folks gather dressed in their colorful dresses and thus the celebration
begins. Shopping is the highlight of this fair and people shop mainly
for tattoos here. The foreign guests could not but be amazed at the
tattooing skills of the people here. The Gair dancers at the fair
heighten the lively and bustling atmosphere of the fair. The main
attraction of the fair is the horses that are brought here for shows.
The horses dance to the tunes of their masters and leave the guests
speechless with their performances.

The Khetlaji Fair is held in Sonana which is 65 kilometers away from
Pali which is the district headquarter. The Pali district is
conveniently accessible to the guests from all the main cities of
Rajasthan.
