The Kajli Teej Festival in Bundi is one of the most important cultural festivals in Rajasthan. The festival is held in every month of Bhadra which is according to the Hindu calendar and according to the English calendar the festival falls in the months of July-August. The festival is held to honor the goddess Teej and those who are married ask for blessings to the goddess. The Kajli Teej festival is celebrated in a unique and a different way in Bundi.

The celebration of festivals in Rajasthan is always a colorful experience and the Kajli Teej is no exception. Since, this is the festival associated with the goddess it has the procession of the goddess carried. The goddess is carried in a palanquin from the main area of the town and it ends at the Azad Park. Decorated elephants, camels, bands, and artists performing their tricks add to the attraction of the procession. The main celebration of the festival goes on for two days but the celebration goes on until Janmashtami.
