in the months of July-August. The festival is held to honor the goddess

Getting to the town of Bundi is not at all difficult because the town
is well connected by train and other transportation facilities. The
Jaipur airport is the near to the town and there is also the separate
railway station with trains to all the major towns of Rajasthan. The
town is connected to Ajmer, Kota, and Jaipur by road as well.

The celebration of festivals in Rajasthan is always a colorful
experience and the Kajli Teej is no exception. Since, this is the
festival associated with the goddess it has the procession of the
goddess carried. The goddess is carried in a palanquin from the main
area of the town and it ends at the Azad Park. Decorated elephants,
camels, bands, and artists performing their tricks add to the attraction
of the procession. The main celebration of the festival goes on for two
days but the celebration goes on until Janmashtami.
