Travel to Kerala, India, on the Kerala
Honeymoon Tour.
Day 1: Kovalam
On your arrival at Trivandrum, the company
representative, who awaits you with your name board for
easy recognition, receives you. You are then transferred
to Kovalam, the beach resort of Kerala, India, enriched
with green coconut palms, and laced with golden sands.
On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free
to relax and enjoy the beach. Stay overnight at the
Travancore Heritage.
Day 2: Kovalam
Post breakfast, Depart for the city tour of
Trivandrum, which includes seeing the Padmanabhaswamy
temple, Horse Palace, Napier Museum and the Srichitra Art
Gallery. Later drive back to the hotel for lunch. Evening
free to enjoy the beach. Stay overnight at the Travancore
Heritage.
Day 3: House Boat
In the morning, after breakfast, we travel
to Alleppey - known as the Venice of the East. On arrival
check into a traditional House Boat of Kerala Style. This
is one of the best ways to experience Kerala villages. You
will be going through the world famous backwaters of
Kerala and even have halts to explore the villages. You
also enjoy the typical Kerala cuisine. Rest of the day and
night is spent in the houseboat.
Day 4: Periyar
Disembark from the boat at Kumarakom and
continue to Thekkady, the famous wild life sanctuary of
Kerala, India. You travel to Periyar through mist-capped
mountains, spice plantations, and open grasslands lined
with spectacular waterfalls & delightful trekking
trails. On arrival, you check into the hotel, refresh
yourself, & relax. Overnight at the hotel. Many
tourists travel to Kerala, India, to visit Periyar
wildlife sanctuary, which is home to tribes of wild
elephant, boar, deer, the tiger and more. Evening go for
boat cruise in the lake to watch wild animals. Overnight
at Taj Garden Retreat.
Day 5: Periyar
A boat safari on the Periyar Lake, in
Kerala, India, extends a lifetime's chance to spot exotic
wildlife in its natural habitat. Afternoon visit spice
plantations like cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, coffee, tea
estates etc. on your way back to the hotel, you could stop
at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices.

Day 6: Munnar
In the morning, you travel to Munnar in
Kerala, India, a place which is often called a "nature
lover's paradise." The whole area is covered with tea
estates, which look like a green carpet. On arrival, check
in to the hotel for an overnight stay. In the evening, you
can go for sight seeing of Munnar and witness tea gardens
spread like a green carpet over hundreds of kilometers and
lush green hills. Overnight at the Club Mahindra Lake View
Resort.
Munnar has the highest peak in South India - Anamudi,
which towers over 2695m, which you will see when you
travel to Kerala, India. An assortment of wild life such
as the Nilgiri Thar, Nilgiri Langur, Sambhar, Gaur and the
lion tailed Macaque are found in the rich tropical forests
around. Devikulam is a serene hill township where one can
go in for trout fishing. Eravikulam National park is
another tourist attraction where you can spot the Nilgiri
Thar, a mountain goat. In the evening, you can visit the
local market. Overnight at the Club Mahindra Lake view

Day 7: Drive to Kochi
In the morning, we drive to Kochi. On
arrival, you check into the hotel. Afternoon is free to
relax. In the evening enjoy a Kathakali dance performance.

Day 8: Tour of Cochin
In the morning, we take you on a guided tour
through Kochi, a port town to which many visitors travel
to Kerala, India, where you see the Jewish Synagogue
(built in 1568, this is the oldest synagogue in the
Commonwealth and is adorned by hundreds of exquisite
hand-painted Chinese tiles in blue and white), St. Francis
Church (built in 1503, also known as the oldest European
church in India where Vasco de Gama was buried), Dutch
Palace. Stay overnight at Hotel Casino
Day 9: Departure
We transfer you to the railway station or airport, from
where you can catch a connecting train/flight to your
onward destination at the end of your Kerala
