Tour to Kerala Duration : 08 Nights / 09 Days
Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Kumarakom, Kovalam.
Day 1: Arrival in Cochin (35km - 1hrs)
Arrive at the Cochin Airport our representatives will
welcome you and escort you to the hotel. Check in at the
hotel and after lunch session start your first day with a
sightseeing tour of the places such as Cochin Harbour,
Cochin Fort, Dutch Palace, St Francis Church, Jewish
Synagogue and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Return to the
hotel and have an overnight stay in Cochin.
Day 02: Cochin – Munnar (150km - 4.5hrs)
Begin the 2nd day of your Discover Kerala Tours with a
healthy breakfast and then head for a drive to Munnar. On
the way witness the wonderful tea and cardamom
plantations. Reaching Munnar check in and spend the rest
of the day at leisure. Spend overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar
Day 3rd of your Discover Kerala Tour begins with a
sumptuous breakfast after which you will head to the
sightseeing tour of Munnar. Visit places such as the
Eravikulam National Park, Old Munnar Town, Mattupetty Dam
& Dairy Farm and the Munnar Town Market. Return to the
hotel and spend as overnight stay in Munnar.
Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady (120km – 4hrs)
Post breakfast drive your way towards Periyar/Thekkady.
On the arrival check in and in the evening take a boat
ride or go for fishing on the Periyar Lake in the Periyar
Wildlife Sanctuary. Return back to the hotel for an
overnight stay in Thekkady.
Day 05: Thekkady - Kumarakom (30km - 1hrs)
Begin the 5th day of your Discover Kerala Tour with a
sumptuous breakfast and then drive your way to Kumarakom.
On reaching Kumarakom check in and relax. Spend rest of
the day leisure or trekking around the Vembanand Lake.
Enjoy your overnight stay in Kumarakom.
Day 06: Kumarakom – Houseboat - Alleppey
After having a healthy breakfast and make your way
towards the Houseboat and sail through the stunningly
beautiful spots across the backwaters. Enjoy the sunset
and stay on the houseboat for an overnight stay. Houseboat
offers all the arrangements of Breakfast, Lunch and
Dinner.
Day 07: Trivandrum – Kovalam (30km - 1hrs)
Post breakfast head to Kovalam by road. On Arrival in
Kovalam check in the hotel and enjoy a full day on the
Kovalam Beach. Return back to the hotel for an overnight
stay in Kovalam.
Day 08: Kovalam – Trivandrum (30km – 1hrs)
Post Breakfast head to Trivandrum by road. On reaching
Trivandrum check in the hotel room. Later go for a
sightseeing tour of Trivandrum and visit places such as
the Museum Complex, Science & Technology Museum,
Padmanbha Swamy Temple, Veli Tourist Village, Aakulam Boat
club and the Shangmugham Beach. Return back to the hotel
and stay overnight in Trivandrum.
Day 09: Depart Trivandrum
Post breakfast drive to the Airport or Railway station
where your onwards journey begins back to home. Here ends
