Day 1: Trivandrum – Kovalam
The customer care representative will receive the guests
at the Trivandrum airport on their arrival. Guests will
check in at the hotel in Kovalam. There will be an
afternoon sightseeing tour of Trivandrum. In the
sightseeing tour guests will get to see places like
Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace and Art
Gallery in Trivandrum. Guests can enjoy the evening time
as they wish on the Kovalam Beach. The overnight stay is
at the Estuary Island. Here ends the first day of Kerala
Travel Itinerary.
Day 02: Kovalam
The second day of Kerala Travel Itineraryis for the full
enjoyment of the Kovalam beach for the guests. At night,
guests will be staying at the Estuary Island.
Day 3: Kovalam – Kumarakom
Guests with the Cream of Kerala Itinerary head for
Kumarakom on the third day. The journey from Kovalam to
Kumarakom is of about 140 kilometers and it takes 5 hours
to arrive at Kumarakom. Guests check in at the hotel on
arrival. The Bird Sanctuary in Kumarakom offers a good
chance of bird watching for the guests in the afternoon.
The accommodation of the guests is managed at the famous
Puzhayoram Health Resorts.
Day 4: Kumarakom - Alleppey by
Houseboat
Guests can take a stroll in the morning after breakfast.
At 11.30 guests will be transferred to the Boat Zetty and
check in at the houseboat. For the night guests will stay
at the houseboat. The timing of the houseboats is from six
to one in the morning and is open till six in the evening.
Day 05: Kumarakom/Alleppey –
Thekkady
Guests enjoy the early morning visit to the bird
sanctuary and post breakfast head for Thekkady. After a
five hour, journey guests can relax in the afternoon at
the Thekkady hotel. In the evening, the Periyar Lake is
abuzz with watersports and guests can enjoy the motorboat
ride at Periyar Lake and see the variety of wildlife
there.
Day 06: Thekkady – Munnar
On the sixth day of Cream of Kerala Itinerary, guests
get to visit the plantations in the morning and visit the
sanctuary. In the afternoon, they start for Munnar, which
is only a five-hour journey. Guests check in at the hotel
in Munnar.
Day 07: Munnar
In Munnar, guests take the sightseeing tour after
breakfast. The places to visit during the sightseeing
include Rajamalai, Matuppetty and Kundala Dam. After the
sightseeing guests can freely travel through the town of
Munnar and stay at the hotel for the night.
Day 08: Munnar – Cochin
On the last day guests head for Cochin and participate
in sightseeing. The sightseeing tour in Cochin acquaints
guests with places like Dutch Palace, Chinese Fishing Nets
and much more. Guests then are transferred to either
airport or the railway station for their next destination.
