Day 1: Calicut
Executives welcome you on your arrival at the Airport.
You are then transferred to the Kappad Beach resort. Vasco
De Gama, the famous Portuguese sailor landed at this port
in the year 1498. The Overnight stay is at the Kappad
Beach Resort.
Day 2: Calicut
Visit Beypore, the oldest port of Kerala. It is famous
for its wood making industry which is traditional, and its
wood market. One can observe the art of the craftsmen who
make the traditional boat ‘Marakalam’. The
Overnight stay is planned at the Kappad Beach Resort.
Day 3: Calicut and Mahe
Drive to Mahe. On arrival you are transferred to Ayesha
Manzil. It is a Heritage Bungalow and is located on the
Arabian Sea shore. Visit the famous mosque and fort in the
city.
Overnight stay is at Ayesha Manzil.
Day 04: Mahe
Visit the school famous in Kerala for its traditional
dance and performing arts. Enjoy the performances of ‘Kalari
Pati’ and ‘Thayum’.
Overnight stay is at Ayesha Manzil.
Day 05: Mahe and Wayanad
Drive to Wayanad. Once you reach there check into the
Vythiri resort. This resort is famous for its lush and
green rainforests. Go exploring the exotic flora and dauna
of the place. Enjoy the elephant safari.
Overnight stay is at the Vythiri Resort.
Day 06: Wayanad
Visit the nearby tribal village. Have a look at the
tribal museum. Post lunch go for a trek to the ancient
cave, only 4 kilometers away, that give one an insight to
India’s rich Civilization. Overnight stay is at
Vythiri Resort. Here ends the 6th day of Heritage Kerala
Tours.
Day 07: Cheruthuruthy
Drive to Cheruthuruthy and visit the ‘Natya Kala
Mandir’ a famous school of traditional dance and art.
Enjoy the dexterity and art of the local weavers and
potters.
Overnight stay is at Heritage River Retreat Hotel.
Day 08: Cochin
Drive to Cochin in the morning. Enjoy the sight seeing
tour of Cochin in the afternoon. Places to visit in Cochin
are Dutch Palace, Jewish Synagogue, Saint Francis Church,
Bolgatty Palace and the Chinese Fishing Nets. Have a walk
through the bustling spice in the town area of the Jews.
Enjoy a Kathakali dance performance in the evening.
Overnight stay is at the Fort Heritage Hotel.
Day 09: Cochin and Alleppey
On the 9th day of Heritage Kerala Tours, drive to the
exotic houseboats of Alleppey. Alleppey is a small town
with enchanting surroundings. Travel through the coconut
fringed canals and visit some exotic tourist spots. Enjoy
delicious meals when you are on board.
Overnight stay is on the houseboat.
Day 10: Alleppey and Thottapally
Move to Thottapally in the morning. Have your breakfast
and leave the houseboat. Drive to Kovalam. En route visit
Haripad Subramanian Snake Temple. It houses abut 500
statues of snakes.
Overnight stay is at Kovalam beach Resort.
Day 11: Kovalam
Try the Ayurvedic Body Cooling Massage at the Ayurvedic
resort or spend the day idling around.
Overnight stay is at the Kovalam Beach Resort..
Day12: Kovalam and Trivandrum
Departure to Trivandrum Airport to board your flights
