Day 1: Arrival in Cochin
On the first day, as you arrive in Cochin, Kerala, our
company representative will be there to meet you. He will
be in the visitor's hall, with a placard bearing your
name. He will transfer you to the hotel and complete all
the check-in formalities. Upon arrival at the hotel, the
guests are welcomed in traditional Indian style with aarti-tikaa
and garlands
In the afternoon, we take you on a guided tour around
Cochin. Cochin is popularly known as the Queen on the
Arabian Sea and is the oldest European settlement in
India. Surrounded by backwaters, this city has always
managed to attract voyagers to travel
to Kerala, India. During this tour, you get to
visit the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue, the Church
of St. Francis, the Bolghatty Palace and the famous
Chinese Fishing Nets. You also get to savour the typical
Kerala lunch on banana leaves.
In the evening, you can enjoy a boat cruise, where you
get to see the seven Islands of Cochin. You can also see
the beautiful sunset with the last rays of the sun
filtering through the Chinese Fishing Nets in the harbour.
The night is spent at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Munnar
On the second day, we drive you to Munnar, the famous
hill station of Kerala, India, where you will be welcomed
by breathtaking views. The evening is at your disposal,
wherein you can simply relax or indulge in anything that
your heart desires.
Day 3: Day at Munnar
Munnar - Munnar is one of the prominent hill stations in
Kerala, India, situated at the confluence of three
mountain streams namely Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and
Kundala. It is famous for its lush green surroundings,
lakes, reservoirs, forests, and tea estates. The quiet
environs of Munnar attract travelers to relax in the lap
of Mother Nature. Munnar has also becomes a favourite spot
for adventure-seeking tourists, who are interested in
paragliding and who travel to Kerala, India to indulege
their passion. It has some of the highest tea estates in
the world. Munnar is also home to Anamudi, the highest
peak in South India, that towers over 2695 m in Munnar. In
the vicinity is the Eravikulam National Park, the home of
the endangered Nilgiri Tahr that roams on a stretch of
grassland or is seen climbing the pinnacles of the
undulating hills.
The routine for the day includes visits to various tea
plantations. The night is then spent at the hotel.
Day 4: Drive to Vandanmedu
On the fourth day, you are driven to Vandanmedu to see
the Cardamom Plantation. The remaining part of the day is
at your disposal.
Vandanmedu is one of the world's largest auction
centres for cardamom. A walk through the sprawling
cardamom plantations of Vandanmedu is a heady experience
which you can enjoy when you travel to Kerala,
India.
Day 5: Drive to Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary
On the fifth morning, we will travel to Periyar Wildlife
Sanctuary, which is famous for wild elephants. The journey
follows a picturesque route, filled with plantations of
rubber, cardamom, cocoa and green pepper. You get to stay
at Spice Village, which is a famous tourist destination
that is surrounded by spice plants. The rest of the day is
at your disposal, which can be utilized for walks around
various spice and coffee plantations. Later on, if you
desire, you can go for a boat ride on Lake Periyar
Reservoir.
Day 6: Tour Periyar
On the sixth day, you are taken for an early morning
boat-ride on Lake Periyar. This ride enables you to see
wild elephants in the forest reserve.
Day 7: Travel to Trivandrum
After a comfortable road journey through enchantingly
beautiful landscapes, you reach Trivandrum, from where you
are transferred to Kovalam Beach Resort.
Day 8: Day at Kovalam
This day is at your disposal wherein you can indulge in
any type of beach activities your heart desires. Kovalam
Beach Resort is the first, the finest and the largest five
star beach resort of Kerala, India. It offers 196 rooms
including 4 Royal Suites in the Halcyon Castle, the summer
retreat of the erstwhile Maharaja of Travancore. The hotel
has 3 fresh water swimming pools and a large convention
centre to accommodate more than 750 delegates with state
of the art facilities which you can enjoy when you travel
to Kerala, India.
Day 9: Kovalam
This day is also at your disposal where you can indulge
in sightseeing or simply lie back and enjoy the comforts
of the resort.
Day 10: Travel to Varkala
Moving north up the coast, we come to Varkala after
breakfast. The drive is usually a beautiful one, because
of the beautiful landscapes that meet one's eyes as the
journey progresses. On arrival at Varkala, you get to
check into the ecstatic comfort of your hotel. The evening
is to be spent at leisure.
Day 11: Arrival at Alleppey through
Kollam
After a long but exotic journey through scenic wonders,
we arrive at Alleppey, Kerala, India, where you check into
a houseboat or at the hotel. After relaxation, if your
heart desires, you can opt for a boat cruise to become
familiar with the lifestyle of the villagers living near
the canals.
Day 12: Travel to Mararikulam
After breakfast, we drive you to Marari Beach, where you
check in at the resort. Later on you can spend time at the
beach and have loads of fun. The night is spent at the
hotel.
Day 14: Reach Kumarakom
We drive you to Kumarakom, where you can relax at the
enchanting resort - Coconut Lagoon. The panoramic
backwaters here offer an ideal retreat to enjoy nature at
its best.
Day 15: Day at Kumarakom
You get to spend an entire day in a houseboat at
Kumarakom. Food will be cooked and served to you on the
boat itself. The houseboat is an ideal place to relax.
Day 16: Back to Cochin
As we approach the last leg of the tour, we drive you to
Cochin, where you check in at the hotel. The afternoon can
be spent sightseeing. The night is spent at the hotel.
Day 17: Onward Destination
On the last day of the tour, we take you to the airport
from where you board the flight to your onward destination
at the end of your All of Kerala Tour.
