Shankhumugham Beach
Just 8 kms away from the city, is the Shankhumugham Beach.

beach is adjacent to the Trivandrum

attractions is the Matsya Kayaka, an indoor recreation club
which is a gigantic, 35 m long sculpture in the form of a

Napier Museum - This museum houses a rare collection

Veli Tourist Village - This is a picnic spot, where
the Veli Lake meets the Arabian Sea. Here one can avail

Kovalam Beach - Kovalam beach is at a distance of 16
km, which is approximately half-an-hour's drive from
Trivandrum. Kovalam consists of three adjacent crescent
beaches. The southernmost, known as the Lighthouse Beach, is

from across the world to enjoy the beauty of Kovalam's
beaches.
Sree Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Temple - This is a
temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The Sree Anantha
Padmanabhaswamy temple possess an impressive structure that
has a 100 ft high 'gopuram', built in Dravidian Style. The
temple has a magnificent array of Gods, Goddesses, nymphs,
spirits and demons that adorn the seven-storey 'gopuram'
that forms the temple tower. Only Hindus are allowed inside
and dress regulations are strictly followed.
Peppara Wildlife Sanctuary - This sanctuary is
situated 50 km from Thiruvananthapuram. Wildlife lovers who
