Hotel Overview:
The resort was build by Queen Dhatri Valiya Rani in 1890
as a marvelous palace. One of the best known resorts for
its ayurvedic treatments it is surrounded by lush green
fields and hills with pleasant environment. The resort was
recently made into a mind blowing hotel and is now a part
of the CGH Earth Group of hotels. The resort provides to
the guests a feel of the ancient hospitality along with
the comforts of the modern living.
Accommodation:
The well appointed 18 rooms of the resort give the
feeling of royalty to its distinguished guests. The
spacious rooms have been provided with double beds and all
other kinds of furniture. With the presence of all kinds
of modern facilities the stay of the guests are made even
more comfortable. The modern facilities provided in the
rooms consist of colour television, intercom, internet
facilities, etc. In order to make the stay of the guests
even more comfortable the rooms have been provided with
attached baths and bathtubs with hot and old water supply
through out the day.
Dining:
To showcase the brilliance of Ayurveda the resort only
serves traditional local Keralian dishes prepared by the
veteran local chefs. It also serves foods prescribed by
the physicist of the ayurvedic center in the resort
itself. No other type food is prepared and allowed in the
resort and tea, coffee and all other forms of drinks are
not allowed in the resort. For the guests the resort
serves only warm water for the drinking purpose.
Facilities:
The facilities along with the above attractions make the
resort a perfect destination for the guests. The business
facility of the resort includes the conference hall which
is equipped with the various modern implements that
facilitate the various business meetings. The ayurvedic
center of the resort is the main attraction for the
guests, providing the guests with the different forms of
