fragrant spice plantation and lush green rain
forests.Haritha Farms is the place to be if one wants to
experience authentic culture, cuisine and lifestyles of
mid Kerala.The air in Haritha Farm is an exotic concoction
of clove, cinnamon and pineapple fragrances. Haritha Farm
is on an off beaten track away from chaotic human
malevolence .The Homestays promotes eco friendly tourism
by promoting bio organic farming and planting spices in
their natural habitat.
Accommodation
Haritha Farms has 7 clean and comfortable bungalows
decorated in traditional Kerala style. All the rooms have
private verandas which overlook endless paddy fields and
tropical rain forests. The surroundings bring pale
reminiscences of a bygone era and it's as if time as stood
still in this place. The rooms are fitted with modern
amenities like mosquito net, bath attached shower and
phone. Haritha Farms is committed to its guest's privacy
and hence follows a policy of 'minimum guests'. Guests are
hence encouraged to book well in advance.
Dining
Haritha Farms treats its guests to tantalizing East
Kerala delicacies. The food is prepared from coconuts and
spices grown in the in - house farm. The coffee served to
the guests is also grown in the farm. The Homestay has a
communal area where guests can prepare tea/coffee or fruit
juices. Haritha Farms organizes a seven day cooking
adventure workshop for its guests .The course familiarizes
the guests with the traditional cooking techniques of
Kerala.
Homestays Facilities
Haritha Farms have a host of facilities like bicycle on
hire, Fax and Telephone, Luggage storage, Airport pick up
and travel desk. The hotel also has a communal library for
those into books. The Homestay has an Ayurveda center with
a well trained masseur. Guests are also taken to a tour of
the spice plantation and fruit gardens.
