Resort Overview:
Pristine Island is the finest backwater eco friendly
resort, offering three star facilities in an eco friendly
manner, and is the first of its kind in Kerala. In the
middle of the island, Kaithapuzha Kayal, the resort lies,
this is the western part of the Vembanandu Lake. Pristine
Isle, as the name indicates, is completely pure and
beautiful. The surrounding of the resort are truly unique

destination for its backwater experience.
Accommodation at Pristine Island Resort Alleppey:
A unique feature of the resort is its floating cottages –
the rooms float on water with a bed of ferro laminated
cement platforms. The visitors can choose from 4 land
cottages, 10 floating cottages and 1 floating suite. These
rooms offer the pleasure of being able to watch sunrise,
sunset and moonrise from the privacy and comfort of the
bedroom. The rooms are well equipped with all the
necessary and modern amenities like mini bar, cold and hot
water, flat screen TV with optical fibre transmission, tea
and coffee making machines, hair dryer and direct dialing
telephones and many more to comfort the stay of the people
while at the resort.
Dining:
The Vembanadu is the multi cuisine restaurant floating on
a water bed offers mouth watering delicacies ranging from
traditional Kerala cuisines, Gujarathi, Mughlai,
Continental Oriental and Chinese. The restaurant can serve
60 guests at a time.
Ashtamudi parlor serves refreshments, fresh juices, tea –
coffee and desserts. A specialty of this parlor is the
serving of fish just caught from the lake and made
according to the tastes of the guest.
The resort also offers an open kitchen and for strict
vegetarians the food is cooked separately.
Other Facilities:
Other facilities include sunset cruises in the
backwaters, 24 hour security and lifeguards, house boats,
ayurvedic massages, dances from Kerala like Kathakali,
Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattam, Chakiyar koothu etc and
conference rooms for business purposes.
